One year of loving you!

There’s something so special about capturing a baby’s first year—those tiny fingers, gummy smiles, and the way they light when snuggled in close to their parents. I was over the moon when this momma reached out to capture one of the best mile stones yet for her baby girl: Charlie's First Birthday! (How is she already one?!)

Something that struck me even more than the cake-smashing and giggles was Mom. Her eyes held a year's worth of love, sleepless nights, whispered lullabies, and first-time "everything's." While first birthdays are a milestone for baby, it is even a bigger one for the parents! Seeing your friends and family gathered around, celebrating your baby, brings back all the memories and emotions. It is one of the most bittersweet feelings. You are always told to savor every moment because time flies. This is something you do not realize yourself, until those sweet little moments become fleeting.

These sweet sessions are not just about the little ones. They’re about the journey, joy, and the quiet strength of motherhood. It is such a privilege to capture these precious moments for families.
