There’s something extra special about a one-year milestone session — the chubby cheeks, the wobbly little steps, and that sparkle of joy in their eyes! Little Colden's session was the perfect reminder of why I love what I do.
This little guy is baby number three in his family, and oh, he knows he’s adored. He showed up full of joy, full of curiosity, and with the biggest, most infectious smile. From the second we started shooting, he lit up the room. He gave us giggles. He gave us dimples. And those rolls? Absolutely picture-perfect. He was a dream in front of the lens, all chunky thighs and toothy grins — obsessed.
What I especially loved about this session was watching his older siblings love on him. Behind the camera, you could see the dynamic immediately — he’s their baby too. They were making him laugh from behind the camera or sneaking in to help him smash his cake (yes, there was cake, and yes, he demolished it), the bond between them was undeniable.
Photographing a third baby is always a treat. The energy is relaxed, the parents are seasoned pros, and there’s a beautiful rhythm to the chaos. It’s not about getting the perfect pose — it’s about capturing the joy, the connection, the moments that fly by far too fast.
